THINGS YOU DON"T SEE ANY LONGER

We were talking about things you don't see any longer and thought you could add to the list. I'll start.
1) Hub Caps.
2) Uncle Tom says "Pay Phones"
3) Cops driving with the windows down in the summer.
4) Aunt Pat at bingo.
5) John says "Dinosaurs"
6)Nellie says 5&10 stores
7) a cent sign on a computer key board
8) Fresh Carvel ice cream stands.
9) Sunday morning cardboard draft beer containers sold before noon in Jersey bars. All the guys would go and get a few before the bar league softball games. They came only in the quart size.
10) Birdie drinking a Bud. Since moving to the Cabin she has become accustom to the finer things life has to offer.
11) Uncle Tom says free air at the service center.
12) How about a 2 cent plain.
13) Soda Jerk.
14) Typewriter.
15) Enjoying a nice cigar at the Saturday night fights.
16) A cartoon and a short at the movies.
17) Kids riding their bikes to school.
18) People getting dressed up when going to public advents. Even Church on Sunday.
19) Long Island Ducks and the Duck farms.

I was always a big fan of:
1. 5 & 10 stores (hmm computers don't even have a cent sign anymore. guess the penny really isn't worth anything anymore)
2. Fresh carvel ice cream
