Sunday At The Cabin

It's the Sunday before Christmas and the cabin has been fully stocked for the big event. We woke up this morning to more snow and Santa should have an easy run as his landing strip has a good 10" of white stuff on the roof. Inside we have a nice fire going and Maryjo just put a nice fresh ham in the oven.

It's Snowing out side and were baking inside.

We got the first snow fall of the year and while it was flying Maryjo baked some cookies and Billy roasted and coated a bunch Pecans and Pistachio nut for munching. (bet you can't eat just one.)

Billy, Nellie, Chow.

Cousin Bill cooked up a little meal for us. I know Apricots were involved. The dish that looks like Rice was made by Nellie I can't say it and I can't spell it but it was very delicious and she is a good cook also.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING

Ti's the season and our family is drifting into Christmas. It's a time that builds up after Thanksgiving and the thought of winter and all that it brings just makes this time of year special.

Fresh Turkey Dinner

Matt spent a nice Fall morning hunting for a fresh Turkey Dinner. He got one on Skunk Hollow up behind Rendezvous Ridge.

I've been gone for awhile

I couldn't write on my blog the reason was a Virus of some kind that has been repaired. I'm sure I have some neat stuff to up grade all of you outlaws who are monitoring the Orphans.
